For years HFC has supported the availability of quality senior living communities in Crozet, VA and specifically this assisted living community. In 2017, HFC was engaged to advise the Jefferson Area Board of Aging (JABA) in selling the property to a qualified senior housing operator. English Meadows Senior Living (EMSL) was the perfect match as a local Virginia organization with an award-winning reputation for quality senior care. The property was sold to EMSL in 2019.
English Meadows operates over 10 properties across four states in the Southeast. They are based in Blacksburg, Virginia and operate 5 properties in their home state. CEO and Cofounder Mike Williams started EMSL in Christiansburg, VA in 2008. He has been in seniors housing and care for nearly 30 years.
Since the 2019 closing, English Meadows has completely renovated the interior and exterior of the facility. The current financing will allow EMSL to complete a dining area restoration and in-room improvements for residents.
The $7,000,000 loan bears interest at a fixed rate of 7% and offers 6 months of interest only for the Borrower.
